Addiction can strike anyone, from any walk of life, at any time.

The surge of opioid related deaths in BC and across our nation has created public awareness of addiction; but those affected continue to feel stigmatized.  This stigma creates barriers for addicts and their loved ones in seeking and receiving the help they need.

The South Island Alano club will help bridge this barrier by being a point of contact for individuals seeking assistance in the recovery process.

The facility will provide a space for recovery groups to have meetings on a regular basis, as well as social activities for the recovering addict and their families in a clean and sober environment.
