A Lifeline Then. A Lifeline Now.

For the past year, the South Island Alano Club has been a safe, welcoming space for people in recovery. Before us, the Victoria Alano Club served this community for years until it closed in 2010. We felt that loss deeply — and we cannot let it happen again.

We are moving April 1. But in order to secure a new location responsibly, we need the funding in place.

So, we are working with Mitchell's Soup. When you purchase soup through our fundraiser, it’s a simple way to make a real difference — stock your pantry, gift a friend, and help protect a space where hope is found, milestones are celebrated, and lives are rebuilt.

Buy soup. Support recovery. Secure our future.

Let’s make sure recovery always has a home on the South Island.

144 People. $500 Each = A Future for the Club.

The South Island Alano Club must move by May 1. We cannot secure a new location until we raise the majority of three years of operating funds.

Here’s the math:

If 144 people give $500 each, we raise $72,000.

That level of support creates the stability we need to sign a lease and reopen.

We know $500 is a significant gift. If you are able, we are asking you to consider being one of the 144.

And if you’re not — please know this:

Any amount is deeply honoured and appreciated.

Every dollar moves us closer. Every share helps. Every act of support matters.

For decades — from the Victoria Alano Club to the South Island Alano Club today — this space has been a lifeline.

Let’s secure the next chapter — together.
