“There were meetings, dances, open mic nights, food, and a lot of fun at the Alano Club in downtown Victoria. Now that the South Island Alano Club is open, I am excited to watch it grow into another place for people to experience fun in recovery."

— Rachel

“In the past, the Alano Club has been a place of respite, an oasis in a storm. I found fellowship, food, and connection. I think an alano club is an important part of the community where recovery fellowships can gather and feel connected.”

Now that the South Island Alano Club is open to just drop in to say hi, or to gather for sober social events, or to hold meetings, it is providing a safe haven that can and will make a difference in our community.
